I Saw My Future Self

Post-workout heading to my gym locker, I was walking behind a little old lady probably in her early 80’s. She was shuffling in front of me into the locker room. As I was walking behind her I saw an adorable little sun tattoo on her shoulder. By this point I became wildly amused and thought she was pretty darn cool. She stopped and I walked past her. We met eyes and exchanged smiles… That’s when I noticed her jet black hair with purple highlights.
For a moment I saw my future self… And I loved it.
