You ever wish God would just crack open the future for five seconds so you could peek in? I do too, and that longing is exactly why the Old Testament hits differently when you’re parenting, marriaging, and trying to be steady while life feels uncertain.
We start with the big story of Scripture, creation, the fall, and the promise God makes to Abraham, then follow that promise through generations of imperfect people. We watch a pattern emerge: God never stops working, even when the middle chapters look like chaos. Then we bring it into everyday motherhood. That’s where the God of the rescue becomes more than a Bible concept, He becomes our anchor. We end at the Red Sea, where fear is real, options are gone, and God makes a way, reminding us that faith isn’t knowing how the story ends, it’s knowing who’s writing it.
